What we collect

When you sign up, we store: your contact details, the bands you've added, and whether you've opted in to being emailed about bands we think you'll like. We also record which country your signup request came from, used once to guess your initial language — not stored as a raw IP address, and not used for anything else.

Why we collect it

Solely to send you an email when a band you've added goes on sale on Ticketmaster. That's the entire purpose — we don't use it for anything else, and we don't collect anything beyond what's needed for that.

We never sell your data, and never use it for marketing or advertising, ours or anyone else's.

Hosting & security

gigalerts.app runs on Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, our database, and email delivery all happen on their infrastructure. Your data may be processed or pass through Cloudflare's global network, including outside the UK and EU, under Cloudflare's standard contractual safeguards for international transfers.

Bot protection

To protect our signup form from automated abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which may process limited technical signals (such as your IP address and browser characteristics) to distinguish real visitors from bots. This processing is carried out by Cloudflare on our behalf. Turnstile Privacy Addendum

Deleting your data

Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and it's one click — no form, no "are you sure" email chain. Unsubscribing deletes your account and everything attached to it immediately.
